Graph Eigenvalues and Walsh Spectrum of Boolean Functions

چکیده
In this paper we consider the Cayley graph Gf associated to a Boolean function f and we use it to investigate some of the cryptographic properties of f . We derive necessary (but not sufficient) conditions for a Boolean function to be bent. We also find a complete characterization of the propagation characteristics of f using the topology of its associated Cayley graph Gf . Finally, some inequalities between the cardinality of the spectrum of Gf and the Hamming weight of f are obtained, and some problems are raised.

Lectures 15: Cayley Graphs of Abelian Groups
In which we show how to find the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of Cayley graphs of Abelian groups, we find tight examples for various results that we proved in earlier lectures, and, along the way, we develop the general theory of harmonic analysis which includes the Fourier transform of periodic functions of a real variable, the discrete Fourier transform of periodic functions of an integer var...
متن کاملLaplacian Energy of a Fuzzy Graph
A concept related to the spectrum of a graph is that of energy. The energy E(G) of a graph G is equal to the sum of the absolute values of the eigenvalues of the adjacency matrix of G . The Laplacian energy of a graph G is equal to the sum of distances of the Laplacian eigenvalues of G and the average degree d(G) of G. In this paper we introduce the concept of Laplacian energy of fuzzy graphs. ...
متن کاملNormalized laplacian spectrum of two new types of join graphs
Let $G$ be a graph without an isolated vertex, the normalized Laplacian matrix $tilde{mathcal{L}}(G)$ is defined as $tilde{mathcal{L}}(G)=mathcal{D}^{-frac{1}{2}}mathcal{L}(G)mathcal{D}^{-frac{1}{2}}$, where $mathcal{D}$ is a diagonal matrix whose entries are degree of vertices of $G$. The eigenvalues of $tilde{mathcal{L}}(G)$ are called as the normalized Laplacian eigenva...
متن کاملD-Spectrum and D-Energy of Complements of Iterated Line Graphs of Regular Graphs
The D-eigenvalues {µ1,…,µp} of a graph G are the eigenvalues of its distance matrix D and form its D-spectrum. The D-energy, ED(G) of G is given by ED (G) =∑i=1p |µi|. Two non cospectral graphs with respect to D are said to be D-equi energetic if they have the same D-energy. In this paper we show that if G is an r-regular graph on p vertices with 2r ≤ p - 1, then the complements of iterated lin...
متن کاملThe spectrum of the hyper-star graphs and their line graphs
Let n 1 be an integer. The hypercube Qn is the graph whose vertex set isf0;1gn, where two n-tuples are adjacent if they differ in precisely one coordinate. This graph has many applications in Computer sciences and other area of sciences. Inthe graph Qn, the layer Lk is the set of vertices with exactly k 1’s, namely, vertices ofweight k, 1 k n. The hyper-star graph B(n;k) is...
